Deutsche Post Marathon Weekend-- Bonn, Germany

Hello Blogging world!

This past weekend was quite an eventful one. I spent the weekend in Bonn catching up with friends and running my third half marathon!

The girls and I spent Friday night club hoping in Cologne-- a wild night as usual. I was reminded once again that Scandinavian girls know how to party!!

Saturday we spent the day relaxing (much needed). We wandered around Bonn, grabbed ice cream and spent the evening cooking spaghetti dinner and chatting away over wine.

Sunday was race day! Thank goodness I have great friends that wake up at 6 am to support me. I ran the Deutsche Post Half Marathon in 2 hours and 1 minute…not my best time but I had a great run. I have never had so much energy while running a marathon, perhaps it’s due to the fact that I hadn’t ran all week and I was really anticipating the run.

Here's a few pictures from the weekend taken by my lovely Finnish friend Liisa!
