Strasbourg, France

Olá Blogging World!!

(Today’s hello is in Portuguese! I figured this would be fitting considering the world cup in Brazil. GO GERMANY)

In my last post I mentioned that I had the opportunity to travel to a few different places in the past days. Strasbourg, France is one of those places.

Travelling to and from Strasbourg was the first time I hitch hiked which I must say, was a great experience. Hitching was both a humbling and eye opening experience. I like to have things planned, very planned. Hitch hiking is unreliable and therefore was a great way for me to learn how to let go and experience the joy of pure spontaneity. I also found myself stumped time after time at the kindness and hospitality of complete strangers. I guess I could say that hitch hiking has somewhat restored my faith in humanity. Not to mention the crazy stories, memories and experiences I made along the journey.

We arrived in Strasbourg on a Sunday afternoon and spent a mere two days exploring the city. From a dreamy cathedral standing in the city center, to winding backstreets with overhanging vines, from canal bridges laced with blossom and aged buildings with stories to tell, I found Strasbourg to be a beautiful city.

Here are some photos from my travels in Strasbourg!
